## How the files were made

- Reviews: 1,523 reviews from ADI Leak Detection's Trustpilot export, imported on 28 April 2026 and covering 11 March 2020 to 27 April 2026. Nothing in the reviews was edited. Engineer names shown with a review: the names come from ADI's own review matching, and one is shown only where the review or ADI's reply names that engineer: by full name, by a first name or short form (such as Phil for Phillip) that no other ADI engineer shares, or by a shared first name together with the surname. A name that is also the reviewer's own first name is ignored, and some reviews that name an engineer were never matched, so they carry no engineer line (632 matches kept, 356 left out).
- Case studies: the 221 case studies in ADI Leak Detection's job records that have a write-up live on adileakdetection.co.uk. 28 more are marked as published in the records but no longer have a live page there, so they are left out. Town, postcode, leak type, service, customer type, engineer, detection methods and job date come straight from the records, and county and country were looked up from the postcode. The 2,908 narrative triples (symptoms, causes, repairs, outcomes and the rest) were taken from the attending engineers' notes, or from ADI's write-ups of those notes, and a script checked that the quote supporting each one appears word for word in that job's record before it was published. A few known faults in the records, such as a postcode that belongs to a different town, were corrected or left out.
- Engineers: 22 engineer profiles from ADI Leak Detection's records, with case study counts taken from the case studies on this site and review counts taken from the review files.
